1/52 Hike of 2018; Heather Lake Trail

Happy Monday y'all! Yesterday, we were three girls and two dogs who went on our first hike of 2018. It was VERY rainy, but we still had a blast. Oreo doesn't like when it's too wet outside so he had to be carried half of the hike, good thing I have a small dog.

We did the Heather Lake trail and it was so beautiful. Snow and ice closer toward the top, but manageable without micro spikes. As soon as Oreo saw snow on the top he got excited and started to rub his face in the snow. So happy to live in such a beautiful state as Washington! Nothing felt better to stop on our way home for some hot cocoa.
