Being an MBA student and at the same time doing a half cross country road trip hasn't been too easy. As we've barely had wifi while driving, I've spent hours each night and/or the morning after to finish up assignments, conference calls with classmates, and doing exams. This semester, I study twice as many courses because I've decided I want to graduate six months earlier than expected. Therefore, we left our hotel room at 2:30 pm today and only had a few hours to explore Salt Lake City, UT because of the time I spent studying. We still got to see many things the city offered. We started to visit the historic Temple Square and the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints Mormons that were located steps from our hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, UT. Then we headed to the State of Utah.
Changing colors, mountains, and blue skies - autumn days are here again! Our final stop was This Is The Place Heritage Park. Unfortunately, we couldn't bring the dogs inside, but we took some pictures by the pumpkin decoration they had by the entrance.
Salt Lake City, UT has been a fun place to visit. I'll definitely go back to Utah, but I'll probably not be visiting the city as I didn't feel there have been enough things to see of my interest. I'll rather hiking the Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and skiing in Park City. It's time to start looking for pet friendly hotels in those areas!
