Let's Wander Where the Wifi is Weak
I never thought I'd the one saying it's actually quite nice not having good wifi connection on the road. It allows me to focus in the present, my dogs, and my mom who are with me on the road. We get to have wonderful conversations, plenty of coffee, and probably not the most healthy food, but that's the charm with roadtrips!
Yesterday, we got to spend some time walking around Falls Park in Sioux Falls, S.D. Beautiful waterfalls and beautiful surroundings.
I feel like the luckiest woman in the world being able to go on a journey like this, expanding my knowledge of each state in the U.S., and get to know myself a little bit better each day. This is not only vacation to me, this is about creating memories in life, and connect with my mom on a deeper level. Life is a journey and we are only guaranteed the moment right now. Yesterday is history and tomorrow is mystery. I choose to live in the present moment.
Then we continued our journey to Iowa. We found a cute little coffee shop in Sioux City where we had hot cocoa and the dogs shared a banana before driving to Nebraska where we stayed the night at the Hilton hotel in Omaha. The dogs slept the entire day in the car!
